Pemberton Valley Golf Course
A
short drive north of Whistler, the Pemberton Valley Golf and Country Club
nestles under majestic Mt. Currie. The grandfather of golf in the Pemberton
Valley has established a strong local following. Founded in 1988 as a 9 hole
course, local business powered it's growth to a par 72, 6407 yard, 124-slope
rating. Accessible rates and a spectacular setting make it ideal for the first
timer or the seasoned veteran.
Pemberton Valley's dramatically different climate makes it a place to be when Whistler experiences inclement weather. Late and early season play is popular here because of warm temperatures. (Fact: Pemberton often has Canada's hottest temperatures)
Bent
grass greens and an island golf green distinguish PVGCC in the Sea to Sky
corridor. A contrasting front and back nine layout results in a duality of play.
Locals consider the front nine as a warm up for the finishing run to the
clubhouse.
The spring of 2000 saw the opening of a new $650,000 clubhouse. A comfortable setting and friendly service make this a great place to relax after a hard fought round.
