Nicklaus North Golf Club

Located in a tranquil valley, below the towering Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, alongside the shores of Green Lake, Nicklaus North is located in the most majestic of settings.  Five minutes from Whistler Village, Nicklaus North is a par 71 course that winds alongside glacier fed Green Lake. From five sets of tees, it is the perfect combination of excitement and enjoyment. The environmentally-conscious project was designed and completed with an awareness and sensitivity toward the area's natural habitat.

Nicklaus North is only the second Canadian course designed by Jack Nicklaus and, of the 150 courses he's designed worldwide, this is the only course to which Jack has been compelled to add his name.

Nicklaus North Golf Course has been awarded 1997's Golf Facility of the Year by the Professional Golf Association of British Columbia, the BCPGA.  This is the highest distinction available on a provincial level. To add to this special award, Nicklaus North was selected as Golf Digest's Best New Canadian Course for 1996.

In addition to receiving these prestigious awards, Nicklaus North was selected to host the 1997 Export 'A' Skins Game, hosting four of golf's greatest names: Nick Faldo, Greg Norman, Fred Couples and Jack Nicklaus.

Nicklaus North features a variety of terrain and distinctive Nicklaus bunkering. The course is situated on relatively level land which makes it a very walkable layout.

This course is home to a practice facility, including a driving range with grass tees and an expansive practice putting green.  Nicklaus North's impressive 15,000 square foot clubhouse houses a golf shop, restaurant and lounge, overlooking awe-inspiring Green Lake.
